With the new Honda Civic heading to showrooms soon, the next vehicle to get an update is likely to be the CR-V. The CR-V continues to be a strong seller and Honda is eager to retain momentum with an all-new model. The all-new 2012 CR-V will reportedly make its debut by fall of this year. It will be a complete generational model change, but few other details are known at this point.
Honda has had strong growth in the light truck segment, with sales fueled by the popular CR-V and the all-new Odyssey minivan. With such skimpy updates given to the CR-V for the 2010 and 2011 model years, it makes sense that a completely new model is waiting in the wings.
